Zuza Miśko is a visual artist and designer working across printmaking, illustration, publications, and moving image.
A graduate of the Faculty of Cinematography at the Polish National Film School in Łódź (2003), she began her career in 2D animation, working in advertising before designing, and directing an 11-minute animated film for Polish Television in 2011. While narrative has remained central to her work, her practice gradually evolved towards printmaking, books, and the expressive possibilities of analogue media.
Working primarily with linocut, drawing, and hand-crafted processes, Zuza creates imagery that combines material sensitivity with clarity and restraint. Influenced by European and Japanese visual traditions, her work draws on nature, music, folklore, and the relationship between image and memory.
Her prints have been exhibited in Poland and internationally, are held in private collections worldwide, and have appeared in international publications. Alongside her independent artistic practice, she collaborates selectively with authors, publishers, and cultural organisations on book design, illustration, and visual identity projects.
